Legislators and the government decided to ease the rating rules for mobile and tablet PC games to boost the domestic game industry, instead asking operators of application markets to self-regulate and classify game applications. Eric Schmidt, Google's chairman and former chief executive officer, told reporters in Seoul on Nov. 8 that Google has been negotiating with the country's game rating board to resume the Android game service in South Korea.
